Thankful God said NO
I asked God to take away my habit.
God said, “No”.
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give up.
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, “No”.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.
I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, “No”.
Patience is a by-product of tribulations; it isn’t granted, it is earned.
I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, “No”.
I give you blessings; happiness is up to you.
I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, “No”.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.
I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, “No”.
You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful.
I asked God for all things that I might enjoy in life.
God said, “No”.
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.
I asked God to help me LOVE others as much as He loves me.

Whew.... today is a very busy day of baking cookies!!! I have 12 dozen cookies to bake today to sell Saturday at the Cougar Classic Wrestling Tournament! First Tournament of the season. The wrestling team has been given the opportunity to run the concession stand that day... so to help earn some extra money... some of us moms are baking homemade goodies to sell! After I get done baking the ones for the tournament... If I have time... I'll make a batch for the boys.
I'm super excited about the tournament this weekend. Patrick won the varsity spot in his weight class so he's pretty excited too! I'm really proud of him!
I got an order the other day from a lady at the elementary school for a couple Husker beanies! Yay me!!!
I think I'm going to try and be a bit more aggressive with my crafts and selling them in 2013..... I have some things I would like to earn and save my money for! I just hope it works and folks find my crafts good enough!
Okay... need to run kids.............
I have a pot of coffee... an oven and cookie ingredients calling me!
