Been busy.............................

One the way home last night from the boys games... it was storming .... .it hadnt reached our place yet... but it was on its way.... this is what we saw as we were on our hill just pulling home.
The boys and I thought it looked like a portal in the sky.

Ken and I went on a nice 3mile walk this morning................
Snapped this pic on our way back home... Ken said this field looked like the Microsoft Background... heheeee.. .it does!

Later in the afternoon while Patrick was a ball practice... Michael ... David ... and I cleaned up some serious weeds and small trees that were growing around our electrical box in the yard.   Oh it looks so much nicer and I feel better!  Thank you boys for your help!!!

Made this cool Suncatcher today...................
I really like it!  I think I'm going to make a few for bingo prizes for Patricks Spaghetti Feed Fundraiser.

Bragging Mommy moment.................

So... my youngest got to pitch tonight......................Umm he LOVED it!    And umm.... he did great and I'm super proud of him!
He's so funny.... he told me at the beginning of  the season... just as practice had started .. .that he didnt like baseball............. OMy!   Well... bummer dude... you have to have a sport/activity for the summer.
Rule : no sitting around the house doing nothing all Summer long.
So............... baseball it is.
Well........... What the real problem was is he didnt like baseball because he didnt think he was good at it.
So..... after  he gave pitching a shot... and  his coach said he was pretty good at it and should practice more.... he all of a sudden likes baseball.   hahahhaahaaa
No matter what ............ I'm proud of him!   Thats a tough place to be... Pitcher Mound!

Baby Chicks..............

We had an incubator in our class for the last couple weeks.   This week our babies hatched.  Arent they adorable?!
Its been a real neat experience for the kids... waiting and watching for the eggs to hatch... then see these sweet little things appear.
God is so amazing!  What started out looking just like the eggs you would eat ..... turned into these cute little fuzzy peeps.
Thank you Father for showing us once again how amazing you are and how thankful we are to be your children!

have a great evening all

What do you see?

To others this is an overgrown...unkept...weed ridden yard. To me it's a sea of yellow beauty that draws Gods awesome creatures. **Deer...Bunnies...birds...etc.**
I love living in the country!

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. Psalm 139:14

When the King of Syria sent a great host of his army to encamp against Israel, they came to the place where Elisha stood. Though Elisha's servant feared and grew anxious, Elisha was confident in God's protection because his eyes were open to God's view of the situation. Elisha saw the army of the Lord. This heavenly host was greater in number than all the men of Syria.

Jesus said, blessed are they who have not seen [Christ] and yet believe (John 20:29). Imagine Elisha's confidence. How he must have spoken with boldness, knowing that the victory was already certain. Can you imagine that the heavenly host "has your back" against the works of Satan?

II Kings 6:15-17  reads:

15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? 16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

What do you see when you look on the horizon; or into the heavens; or into the mirror? Can you imagine what God sees when He looks at all of these things; and you? If you could look through the eyes of God and see you, you would be looking through the eyes of truth. The truth is, God is like a loving Father; you are precious to Him.

Other people may see your outward appearance. God sees your heart. Other people may look at the color of your eyes, or the way your hair kinks or slumps in the rain. Other people may see the way you walk or the clothes you wear. God is not measuring His creation by the latest fashion or whether the world "likes" you (or really likes you). God knows that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) because He made you. Knows who you really are and who you were born to be because He formed you - even from the womb, He knew you and set a purpose for your life (Jeremiah 1:5). God knows you have something great to offer this world, because He placed the seed within you, to bless His creation, by His creation: you.

Let God open the eyes of your heart today, so you can see yourself as He sees you. May the Lord reveal His sight to you as you grow in trusting Him.

Hugs ... Love & Blessings

Freebie Friday...........

Taco Ring Bake

Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 package (1.25 oz) taco seasoning mix
1 c. (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbs water
2 8-oz packages refrigerated crescent rolls
1 medium green bell pepper
1 c. salsa (optional)
3 c. lettuce, shredded (we used more — ¾ a head)
1 medium tomato, diced
¼ c. onion, chopped
½ c. pitted ripe olives
sour cream
Directions:
–Preheat oven to 375°. Brown the ground beef, then drain. Add taco season and simmer
–Unroll the crescent dough; separate into triangles. Arrange triangles in a circle on a pizza pan with the wide ends toward the center of the pan, overlapping each other. It will look like a large sun with the points hanging half off the pan. There should be a 5 or 6 inch opening in the center.
–Spoon the meat mixture evenly onto widest end of each triangle. Bring points of triangles up over filling and tuck under wide ends of dough. (Filling will not be completely covered).
–Bake 18-22 minutes or until golden brown.
–Shred lettuce, dice tomato, onions, olives, green pepper, and whatever other items you want to put inside. Place them in center of the taco ring and use that as your toppings!

Enjoy & God Bless

The Power of Prayer...................

Our sweet little Sugar Glider ( Phoebe ) wasnt herself the other night.  David had gone to feed her and she was so quiet and listless.   He brought her up to me... we got her all warm and cozy in a little towel in my arms... Patrick went and got her a dish of water and a baby spoon for me to see if she would drink.
As David sat on the floor crying his little eyes out.... Patrick sat on the floor on the other  side of me praying like crazy.   David started praying too.... we all did.
Within a few minutes... Phoebe was drinking the water from the spoon.... and wiggling around.... a few more minutes... she was playing on the floor with us.. .and drinking from the dish.
Oh a childs heart to pray!!!!!!   Thank you God for answering my baby's prayers!

We love you little  Phoebe!!!! Thank you God for keeping her safe!
