Yarn used: I Love This Yarn
Machine that can be used: 22 pin addi - 32 pin sentro or 46 pin Addi circular knitting machine
Yarn colors:
*purple
*yellow
*black
*Turquoise
*Pink
Cast on with a different color waste yarn - knit 8-10 rows
Change to a contrasting color yarn for one row of rip cord
Reset counter to start project
Row 1-15 yellow
Row 16 black
Row 17-30 turquoise
Row 31 black
Row 32-44 pink
Row 45 black
Row 46-57 purple
Row 58 black
Row 59-65 yellow
Row 66 black
Row 67-71 pink
Row 72 black
Row 73-81 purple
Row 82 black
Row 83-90 turquoise
Change to a contrasting color yarn for one row of rip cord
Change to waste yarn and knit 8-10 rows and let fall off machine
Turn inside out and secure all knots. Cut tails to about 1 inch
With a long piece of black yarn you will use your darning needle to put the “stitches” across the black rows
Turn right side out and stitch ends shut using slip stitch method
Remove waste yarn
Lay your headband out on your work surface.
Thread the long tail onto your yarn needle.
Fold the left side of the headband into a C shape.
Take the right side and insert the bottom into the “mouth” of the C shape. Wrap the top around the top of the C making a backwards C
Now you’ll have a 4 layer thick sandwich to sew through. Sew back and forth from one to the next going through all 4 layers. Tie off and turn right side out
