Thankful Thursday...........

Our families are all so beautifully different, but what matters most is that a family is a group of people that love you, understand you, and support you. Family is the ultimate bond that does not break and gives us such a beautiful reason to be grateful. Whether you have a family by blood or by choice, take a moment today to tell them you love them and are grateful for them.

God bless you all

Memorial Day....

 To my beloved family members who have served—and are still serving—thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

To my dad, who served in the Air Force: your strength and service laid the foundation for the values I carry today. You showed me what quiet courage and steadfast duty look like.

To Ken, my husband: you served in the Air Force with honor and commitment, and I am endlessly proud to hsve walked beside a man who gave so much for his country.

To Melvin, my son: now serving in the Navy, you create a legacy to carry on with pride and purpose. Watching you serve fills me with both awe and gratitude.

To K., my daughter-in-law: serving in the Marines, you embody strength, resilience, and determination. Your service and sacrifice do not go unnoticed.

And to Zach, who is like a son to me: your time in the Navy showed the kind of heart and dedication that makes a difference in this world. I’m proud of you as if you were my own.

Each of you has given a piece of yourself to protect the freedoms we hold dear. I see your sacrifices, your strength, and your service—and I am proud every day.

With love... pride...and endless gratitude- THANK YOU!

Best surprise ever....

at work today!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Met this amazing kid 9 years ago while he was stationed at SAC- Offutt Air Force Base in 2016.   He came to our church one Sunday and made quite the impression on our pastor.
With my husband passing 1 June and Zach’s mom 3 August…my pastor thought Zach and my family should know each other.
From that moment on Zach has been just another one of the kids!  He’s a good boy with a gentle soul! I knew what he was going through with losing a parent because my own children were going through that as well!  He spent Holidays with us, having fun singing with my kids and enjoying home cooked food.  He then got deployed after Christmas and time from there was his journey to stardom!
I am so very proud of him!!  I knew he could do whatever he set his mind to! And he sure did!
So now we’re here at today… my pastor messaged me asking if I was at work today.  Said he had something for me and he’d be by later.  It’s been far and few of seeing this kid so imagine my surprise when my pastor and Zach came walking through the door!  Let the crying begin!  I couldn’t hug this kid tight enough!  He came to house and we hung out and reminisced for a while.
I miss him so much every day!
He then made his way to my daughter’s house just to surprise her too.  Everyone else was at work…so…😢
Zach… thank you for making my day…love you sweet boy❣️
God bless you all
❤️Tammy
