Mile-a-minute scarf (stitch the strips together for an afghan)

Row 1) ch 2, 3dc in 1st ch *ch 2, 3dc in same ch as first 3dc,* *repeat 2 more times, ch 2, join with sl st to top of first dc at the beginning. Ch 4
Row 2) turn counterclockwise putting 3dc ch2 3dc in ch2 sp. Trc in next ch2 sp, ch4, flip project over so that the ch4 is on your right.
Rnd 3) 3dc ch2 3dc in ch2 sp - trc in ch 4 sp - ch4, flip project over so your ch4 is on your right side
Rnd 4) repeat rnd 3 until desired length. Tie off ending with a trc.
Border
Attach yarn in any side ch4 sp with a sc - ch1 3dc in same sp. 3dc in each trc and ch4 sp to end.
Turning corner - 3dc - ch2 - 3dc in point. 3dc in each trc and ch4 sp to end, turn corner as before, continue in patter joining with sl st to first dc, tie off.
Scarf - Add any other decorative border at this point if you choose.
Afghan – join strips with sc in spaces between 3dc clusters- ch3 between ea sc

Also join strips together with any joining method you prefer. Add as many or as few as you like to get desired width.
