Verse of the day...

~ “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ~ Isaiah 41:10

R.O.A.K...........and wish granted

Random Act Of Kindness

What a morning....... I was blessed twice in the same day! First with becoming the newest Bag Lady on Crochetville! Second with receiving a wish I had placed in a yahoo group for a Grandpa Amigurumi.
There is a lovely lady on Crochetville ... MaryJo. She randomly blesses someone each month with a beautiful totebag crocheted by her with a Crochetville logo pocket on the front. Each bag has a theme to it. The last couple months it has been 'Movie Candy' theme. This particular bag is the *MaltyBall/Whopper Bag*. The anticipation of who will be next is so much fun. The excitement in the stories of the new 'bag lady' almost makes you jump up and down yourself in joy. MaryJo does an outstanding job in crocheting the bag. The pocket is amazing! God has blessed her with a great talent of Crochet and a very giving heart! What an honor! And what an honor it is to call her a friend!
MaryJo............ THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I do hope you know without a doubt how happy you made me this morning!
If you would like to peek at all the other bags MaryJo has blessed other with... check them out here......... Bag Ladies

My beautiful Bag

My beautiful Bag with a box of whoppers... a lovely note from MaryJo and her biz card

My beautiful Bag with one of my current WIP's (baby blanket) in it ready to go with me to Patrick's baseball game tonight.

Amigurumi Wish
He's here......... He's here! The wish I had made for this adorable Grandpa Amigurumi was granted!!! Grandpa is now safe and sound here in our home. Thank you Cyndi for granting my wish! I do hope you know just how happy he makes me! You have blessed me more than I can express! I just keep hugging him. David placed him on my bed covered with a granny square that looks to be about 10". He said grandpa needed a nap after his long trip here!
I love him!!! Thank you Cyndi!!!

This is Grandpa ... with him came this handy dandy crochet hook and stocking cap in hand.. that looks as if he has finished. heheheheee Wonder who he's going to give that little cap to?!
I dont know why he reminds me so much of my daddy.. but he does and thats why I wanted him!!!
Here is Grandpa watching Michael check out cool Transformer toys online while covered in the beautiful comfortghan we received this last week from some AWESOME friends ... and eating a piece of MonkeyBread that was fresh out of the oven this morning.
The boys love Grandpa too! :)

Be a blessing to someone today. A simple smile... a few coins in change at the checkout to help cover someones bill.... drop off a batch of cookies to your neighbor just because its a good day to do it..... call a friend just to say HI.... send a post card to someone you havent talked to in a long while .... anything you do today for someone else ... will be a blessing to them!
have a wonderful day everyone!!!

Card game of life..........

Your life........... its a card game played by God and Satan.......???
God lays down the card of Marriage.
Satan lays down ... loneliness... disappointment... and anger
God then lays down the card of your family(parents.. siblings.. etc)
Satan lays down ....... accusation... distance and unforgiveness
God lays down the card of your children.
Satan lays down ...... illness..... being lost... and pressures of the world.
God then lays down his last card......your card.......... you
Satan thinks he has this game won............ he lays down sadness... worry... self-doubt... confusion.... and past sin. Oh... he's got you good.

BUT WAIT......... there is one last card to be played............ and you realize its not God that has been playing this game.......... its you and satan. In order to win this game you have to play your last card.......... the card that holds the key to all the cards laid down before.

You have to make a choice now... to lay down this card... or take what satan has shown you and lose.... lay down your Jesus card. All over that card is written... Faithful... forgiving... loving... Savior... merciful............. Lord of all!

YOU WIN.... collect all those cards placing them Under the Jesus card and let Him take care of it all.

tell Satan to GO FISH!

Stop holding on to that card.... walking around trying to decide what to do with it...... Play it.. Lay it down and let God be your winner!!!!

God Bless you all!
have a wonderful day!!!

Happy Father's Day.................

Dear Lord God..............
You are the one who knows how absolutely special fathers are.
You made them that way.
How else can a man work so hard, give so much, and love unconditionally, without your strength?
So first, Lord, thank You for fathers, for daddies. For big, strong men with tender hearts, with hands that are calloused and rough,
yet so soft and gentle when hearts need mending.
Lord, help children to delight this day in being with their dads,
even if it must be only by phone.
May the precious memories flow, and bring laughter,
and new love and appreciation.
Lord, please take care of our dads.Though they are brave and protective, they must also be frightened sometimes, when money runs low, when we need things, when we're hurt or sick.
Lord, when their hearts break because they can't do it all, please help us to let them know how much we love them.
And how much You love them.
Lord, forgive the men who know they are not good fathers, and help them to know when and if they can make things better, with Your help.
And Oh, Lord, for those Dads who keep trying and keep loving after messing up so many times, help their children to love them even more in return.
Lord, for that Dad who has lost a child, please let him know You are there, right beside him,for nothing else can heal a heart so torn.
For the father who is parenting alone, strengthen him with your love.
For those whose father is already with You,
Give him a hug, Lord,
and tell him it's from his children.
And you, too, Lord.
Happy Father's Day!
In Jesus' name,
Amen.

I miss you daddy!

Love, muffit

Happy Father's Day Sweetheart! You are a Wonderful daddy!
I love you!!!!

Salvation is FREE........

Salvation is free through faith in Jesus Christ, because He has already paid the full price for our sins, through His own Death on the Cross. His Death was the Final Atonement for sin. No other sacrifice is necessary, or acceptable, to God, in order to merit Salvation. Jesus is the Lamb of God, without spot or blemish, who has taken away the sins of the world through His own Blood shed for us. Following are the Scriptural facts taken straight from God's Holy Word, the Bible.

Salvation Is Free :"Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:" Romans 3:24
"He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" Romans 8:32
"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God." 1 Corinthians 2:12
"And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely." Revelation 21:6
"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Revelation 22:17

Jesus Paid The Full Ransom Price For Our Redemption :"Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28
"Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men." 1 Corinthians 7:23
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." 1 Timothy 2:5-6
"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Jesus Bore Our Sins And Delivered Us From The Same :"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;" 1 Corinthians 15:3
"Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:" Galatians 1:3-4
"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." 1 Timothy 1:15
"Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;" Hebrews 1:3
"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." Hebrews 9:28
"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." 1 Peter 2:24
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." 1 John 1:7
"And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." 1 John 2:2
"And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin." 1 John 3:5
"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." 1 John 4:10
"And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood," Revelation 1:5

All We Must Do Is Repent, Believe And Receive :"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" John 1:12
"Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." John 6:29
"To him [Jesus] give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins." Acts 10:43
"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Acts 16:31
"Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus." Acts 19:4
"For if by one man's offence -- [Adam's] -- death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)" Romans 5:17
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10
"That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galatians 3:14
"And for this cause he [Jesus] is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance." Hebrews 9:15
"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him." James 1:12
"And when the chief Shepherd [Jesus] shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away." 1 Peter 5:4
"And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment." 1 John 3:23
"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." 1 John 5:13

So Salvation is free through faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other way. Jesus Christ is the only way to Salvation and the Father. He is the truth, because He spoke the truth, and He leads the only true way to Salvation. He is Life, because through His loving Sacrifice, He has opened the way to Salvation and Eternal Life to as many as who will believe in Him, and receive Him, by faith. Will you accept Jesus Christ as your Redeemer, Lord and Savior today? He patiently, and lovingly, stands at the door of your heart, waiting for you to repent of your sins and unbelief, and to invite Him in, through a decision of faith:
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20

The decision is yours: What will you do?

National Friendship Week...

Too many people put off something that brings them joy just because they haven't thought about it, don't have it on their schedule, didn't know it was coming or are too rigid to depart from their routine.

I got to thinking one day about all those women on the Titanic who passed up dessert at dinner that fateful night in an effort to cut back. From then on, I've tried to be a little more flexible.

How many women out there will eat at home because their husband didn't suggest going out to dinner until after something had been thawed? Does the word 'refrigeration' mean nothing to you?

How often have your kids dropped in to talk and sat in silence while you watched 'Jeopardy' on television?

I cannot count the times I called a friend and said, 'How about going to lunch in a half hour? She would gas up and stammer, 'I can't. I have clothes on the line. My hair is dirty I wish I had known yesterday, I had a late breakfast, It looks like rain.' And my personal favorite: 'It's Monday.' She died a few years ago. We never did have lunch together.

Because Americans cram so much into their lives, we tend to schedule our headaches. We live on a sparse diet of promises we make to ourselves when all the conditions are perfect!

We'll go back and visit the grandparents when we get the little one toilet-trained. We'll entertain when we replace the living-room carpet... We'll go on a second honeymoon when we get the last of the kids out of college.

Life has a way of accelerating as we get older. The days get shorter, and the list of promises to ourselves gets longer. One morning, we awaken, and all we have to show for our lives is a litany of 'I'm going to,' 'I plan on,' and 'Someday, when things are settled down a bit.'

My lips have not touched ice cream in 10 years I love ice cream. It's just that I might as well apply it directly to my stomach with a spatula and eliminate the digestive process The other day, I stopped the car and bought a triple-Decker. If my car had hit an iceberg on the way home, I would have died happy.

Now....go on and have a nice day. Do something you WANT to......not something on your SHOULD DO list. If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?

Have you ever watched kids playing on a merry go round or listened to the rain lapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight or gazed at the sun into the fading night? Do you run through each day on the fly? When you ask ' How are you?' Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed with the next hundred chores running through your head? Ever told your child, 'We'll do it tomorrow.' And in your haste, not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch? Let a good friendship die? Just call to say 'Hi?

When you worry and hurry through your day, it is like an unopened gift.....Thrown away........ Life is not a race Take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over.

It's National Friendship Week.. Show your friends how much you care.

Busy ... Busy ... Busy...

Being busy………….what a blessing that is! If you are running around your house cleaning… getting ready for company… what a blessing that is!! First that you can run … second.. you have a house… and third.. you have friends to come over.
If you are busy crafting… with a slight panic that you wont get things done in time… making gifts for folks…. What a blessing that is. First that you have the talent to craft. Second… your panic is really a strong desire from love… and third… you are blessing someone else with a gift of love.
You’re sitting at work with a pile of papers on your desk that need to be done by the end of the day…. What a blessing. First..you have a job in the first place. Second… your boss and co-workers have such confidence in you that they bring their needs to you. And third… you have the whole day!
So… next time you’re BUSY. Don’t let it get clouded over by stress…… its not stressful to be busy… it’s a BLESSING! Why would anyone want to just sit… do nothing… giving satan the perfect opportunity to sit down with you and chat….?!?
Its amazing how satan can take any situation and try to get to you with it.
Lets take these busy situations here and do this…………………..
Running around cleaning for company. Uhoh… company doesn’t show up. Now… are you going to let satan get to you? Make you upset at your friend? Or maybe frustrated that you did all that work for nothing? Hmmmmmm? I say… Thank you God… my house is clean and I can relax now with coffee.. a good book or craft!!!
Busy Crafting a gift for someone. Oh man… they bought one for themselves at a craft fair. Are you going to let satan get to you? No worries… you just got a call from another friend that is in need of comfort…that leads you to giving them that gift you have DONE! Praise God! He never leaves us hanging. When something doesn’t look like its going to work.. or go the way WE planned it… He shows us another way!
All that paper work on your desk? What? Your boss says he doesn’t need it till Friday? Well…………….Praise God its done… you can get other things caught up… and take an Hour lunch tomorrow from missing lunch today because you worked through it which will give you time to drive across town to get that special gift for that special someone! Yippie…its on sale that day too! Your boss and co-workers will be grateful to have their needs met ahead of schedule! What a Blessing!

So.... stay busy and be blessed!!!
Huge hugs… lots of love and busily blessed……

Anger..............?

Today we live in a society of anger. Road rage rears its ugly head over minor traffic infractions. Small annoyances infuriate us. Corporations offer anger management courses to help us deal with our tempers. Anger rules our lives.

What we must realize is that anger in and of itself is not sin. Anger is a God-given emotion. Even Jesus became angry at times (Mark 3:5; John 2:13-17). Anger is an emotional response to certain situations. However, when anger begins to consume us or turns us into people of uncontrollable rage, that is when we need to look for guidance and learn how to manage it.

Fortunately, God gives followers of Christ their own handbook on anger management—the Bible. Ephesians 4:26 reads, “In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.” How many times have you gone to bed in anger with your husband. You roll your back to him and stew for hours about the perceived injustice, while he snores peacefully in a deep sleep. Grrrr . . . growls your anger. How dare he sleep when I am mad? He wakes up with a cheery outlook; you roll out of bed with a migraine. How much better would it be if you were to let go of your anger and to sleep with peace in your heart?

Another verse states, “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” (Proverbs 15:1). The verse reminds me that I could choose anger or gentleness. It is my decision. I could choose gentleness or pop my emotional cork!

So... when our anger threatens to run away with us, we need to grab our anger management Book. Search the Scriptures to determine which ones apply to our immediate circumstances.
I want to be wise in my anger, not a fool.

Each and everyone one of us
are going through tough times right now,
but God is getting ready
to bless you in a way that only
He can. Keep the faith.

**Father, I ask You to bless
my friends, relatives and those that
I care deeply for, who are reading
this right now.
Show them a new revelation
of your love and power.
Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister
to their spirit at this very moment.
Where there is pain,
give them your peace and mercy.
Where there is self-doubt,
release a renewed confidence
through yourgrace.
Where there is need,
I ask you to fulfill their needs.
Bless their homes, families,
