What a morning....... I was blessed twice in the same day! First with becoming the newest Bag Lady on Crochetville! Second with receiving a wish I had placed in a yahoo group for a Grandpa Amigurumi.
There is a lovely lady on Crochetville ... MaryJo. She randomly blesses someone each month with a beautiful totebag crocheted by her with a Crochetville logo pocket on the front. Each bag has a theme to it. The last couple months it has been 'Movie Candy' theme. This particular bag is the *MaltyBall/Whopper Bag*. The anticipation of who will be next is so much fun. The excitement in the stories of the new 'bag lady' almost makes you jump up and down yourself in joy. MaryJo does an outstanding job in crocheting the bag. The pocket is amazing! God has blessed her with a great talent of Crochet and a very giving heart! What an honor! And what an honor it is to call her a friend!
MaryJo............ THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I do hope you know without a doubt how happy you made me this morning!

Amigurumi Wish

He's here......... He's here! The wish I had made for this adorable Grandpa Amigurumi was granted!!! Grandpa is now safe and sound here in our home. Thank you Cyndi for granting my wish! I do hope you know just how happy he makes me! You have blessed me more than I can express! I just keep hugging him. David placed him on my bed covered with a granny square that looks to be about 10". He said grandpa needed a nap after his long trip here!

This is Grandpa ... with him came this handy dandy crochet hook and stocking cap in hand.. that looks as if he has finished. heheheheee Wonder who he's going to give that little cap to?!

I dont know why he reminds me so much of my daddy.. but he does and thats why I wanted him!!!
Here is Grandpa watching Michael check out cool Transformer toys online while covered in the beautiful comfortghan we received this last week from some AWESOME friends ... and eating a piece of MonkeyBread that was fresh out of the oven this morning.
The boys love Grandpa too! :)

Be a blessing to someone today. A simple smile... a few coins in change at the checkout to help cover someones bill.... drop off a batch of cookies to your neighbor just because its a good day to do it..... call a friend just to say HI.... send a post card to someone you havent talked to in a long while .... anything you do today for someone else ... will be a blessing to them!
