Heavenly Father, today we remember September 11th and all the lives that were forever changed. We lift up the families who lost loved ones, the survivors who still carry the memories, and all those who answered the call to help that day.
Lord, comfort those who continue to grieve. Give strength to the families who still feel the pain of their loss, and bring peace to hearts that carry difficult memories. We are grateful for the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness of the first responders and ordinary people who helped others in their greatest time of need.
May we never forget the lives lost, the heroes who served, and the love and unity that followed such tragedy. Please watch over our nation and keep us safe. Help us to choose kindness, compassion, and love for one another.
