#16......................There is a little story behind this particular one. I received this email....
Tammy
I want to make an afghan. I am going to make it in honor of a co-worker's baby who died a few days after birth. From what she has told me it sounds like the disease you described. Although she lost him 12 years ago the hurt is still there. Please ask your son what color afghan he would like me to make in honor of Troy Schlegel.
Jenny
This was my reply.....
Well.. my dear friend……….. my sweet little man just told me that he thinks that the blanket made in honor of Troy should be done in pastel type colors…
Now keep in mind… this is from a 9 yr old… but he has a HUGE heart! A Huge love for God.. and a great compassion for the children with Nephrotic Syndrome.
He said the middle should start out with a small spot of really light brown… circled in lots of pastel yellow… with a few finishing rings of soft white and baby blue.
Now … you may wonder where he got this? Well… he said the brown is for the Cross… which Jesus took all our sins and illness away for us… the Yellow… is for the streets of Heaven .. and the Soft White and baby Blue are for the clouds and sky that surround Heaven…. Where he said Troy is happy and playing.

This is what Jenny created. As I opened the package... Michael and I both teared up a bit. Its Beautiful Jenny............. THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!
