Hello Saturday.............

 Hope all is well with everyone!!

Its a whole 35* outside.  Brrr... bit chilly out there! 😊

Just got back from having breakfast with my mom and one of my boys and his girl!
Food was great and company was even better!

Not real sure what today will hold for me!  I think I want to get a little sewing done... but I also want to finish a couple crochet and knitting projects.  
I have an afghan I'm crocheting and a dishcloth I've got on my knitting needles for my mom.  I could easily finish the dishcloth today and still get some rows put on the afghan.   But I want to sew too.  😕 lol

Well... while I try and decide what I will work on .....  let me share a couple pics of something I started having fun with.

One big deal is a new sewing room mom and I had built.

We've been doing some crafting and sewing!😁

Been MIA ...............

 ............ due to alot going on!!! 

Well my dear friends and family...

This year has been such a roller-coaster ride!  My health has been a biggest part of it!  

Back some time I had started posting about my health.  As it turned out I had a liver transplant on September 12th of this year.   I'm doing quite well so far!  I'll be returning to work next week.  I sure do miss the folks there and the work itself.  
So as you see.... its been kinda crazy with me not feeling well and waiting on the transplant list.
It was one heck of a ride!  Now I'm on the road to a new life!  And with that... I'm going to get back to my crafting... my blog... and living.  
My mom has been by my side the whole way!   I'm so blessed to have her!

I've been doing some crocheting and knitting... and sewing as I started feeling better.  I was taking advantage of my recovery time at home and getting some crafting done! :) 

Well... I'm going to cut this post short here.  I've got some things I need to get done and I have a bit of a headache that I dont what to get worse... so I'm going to go relax here in a bit.

💔 5th birthday goes by without you  💔

I can’t believe how the years went by!  

All the things I still miss doing with you… especially on your birthday!  Making this German Chocolate Cake…which is your favorite!   Having all the kids meet us for dinner somewhere!  Having the restaurant staff sing to you!  Head out to a new movie that would have come out this month!  Eat the most buttery popcorn ever…washing that down with a slushy!  If it’s still early… we’d go for a walk somewhere… holing hands…in that special way we’d do…that we wouldn’t hold anyone else’s hand that way!  Time to go home… to watch one of our favorite crime shows… while enjoying a slice of your birthday cake!    You’d fall asleep after eating your cake while watching tv.  I’d keep watching while crocheting until I got tired and we’d eventually go to bed.

I can see all this as if its today!  How I wish that was how we we’re spending our day today!!  I miss you so much babe!
